The Anaheim Ducks came into the UC to take on Chicago but lost in a shootout. Chicago is notorious for losing games that go beyond the overtime but Patrick Kane scored the game winner on Jonas Hiller. Patrick Kane was player of the night tallying 2 assists. Goal scores included Marian Hossa and Patrick Sharp and Crawford went 29 for 31.
This line with Kane and Hossa is mighty impressive. Kane’s assist to Hossa today has to make NHL’s top 10 goals of the week. The no-look, behind the back, pass to a perfectly positioned Hossa was incredible. Chicago is now 5-1-2 with 12 points, and now 2nd in the Western Conference. Things are looking good, especially with Detroit showing some vulnerability.
